Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Agra Cantt was brought into existence in 1964, and the started working in the Agra Cantonment. It shifted to its present building on 2nd October 1969.

From a single section school in 1964, it has grown full fledged to a 4 section school, providing Science/Commerce stream at +2 level.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Agra Cantt was established in June 1964 in the building name Thomson Convent School, Agra Cantt. Gradually the Vidyalaya developed up to class twelfth science and shifted to newly constructed beautiful KVS building in October 1969 inaugurated by Colonel B.D. Khurana Station Commander Agra Cantt. The KVS has sanctioned two section each in Commerce and Science stream. and one additional section of science in class XI keeping in view the demand ofthe parents, as there is no other KendriyaVidyalaya situated between 40 Km of this KV.
